Welcome to Aloha Snacks, food for the relaxed. We serve up a fun, modern take on traditional Hawaiian food with influences on Asian and Southern cuisine. Aloha Snacks is a clever, fast-casual restaurant with a menu designed to target customers who are either on the go or looking for a relaxed atmosphere to dine. We are geared towards high volume to-go ordering, offering easy drive-through pick up. The island style feel of the inside offers up to 52 seats where customers may dine in an informal, “hang loose” environment.

Chef Jesse Wykle has over 18 years experience in high end/high volume kitchens; managing for 13 of those years. This, however, is not a fine dining restaurant with a chef. Jesse will be the operator, focusing on managing a small team to produce consistently delicious fare with exceptional customer service. Menu proteins will range from sustainable seafood, such as tuna and salmon, to local pork from Autumn Olive Farms in the Shenandoah Valley, local Virginia Hereford Beef, and even Pungo farm eggs. Greens and grains will be sourced from our home state of Virginia, as well as local craft beer on draft. Only the best local and exotic fruits will be sourced depending on the season. There will be retail for bottles of wine, signature sauces, Hawaiian chocolate and coffee, even Aloha Snacks apparel.

This company was founded with the single-minded focus of turning a local, independent restaurant into an enterprise empire. Starting off small, like our menu, Aloha Snacks will focus on restaurant consistency as the team is trained on the true passion of craft fare. Given the projected business generated within the first 3 years, the flagship location may no longer support the capacity and demand for our products; leading to a second store opening. After our first 5 years, Aloha Snacks will have spread to Shore Drive in Virginia Beach, and two locations in The Outer Banks, NC.

The Future

To build an uncompromising restaurant brand based on Southern Hospitality and the Aloha Spirit that directly impacts our surrounding communities. This hospitality will be showcased through the health and success of our employees as they grow and become rooted within the company.

My business philosophy is simple: People, Operations, & Profit. Having been a leader in this industry for almost 2 decade, I know first hand how important it is to treat people right, even your employees. Between 6 months to 1 year loyal employees will be given health insurance and an option to a simple IRA. It is my job to make sure employees are provided with all the tools, training, support, and guidance to provide our guest with the best overall experience.
